Taking up a key position within our Business Development (BD) team, we are seeking a Senior Bid Co-ordinator to join our TriConnex business as we continue to grow.

This is an opportunity to lead a strong and established team responsible for providing accurate, timely and compelling bid proposals to a wide range of customers.  You will be delivering market-leading service to both internal and external customers, underpinning TriConnex’s strong growth and customer loyalty.

So, what will you be doing?
You will use your knowledge and expertise to firstly understand how the Bid Team contributes to the wider Business Development function, ensuring team performance levels are within any agreed KPI’s.

Taking day-2-day leadership responsibility for your co-ordination team, you will support, coach and develop your team to ensure they have the ‘tools to deliver’ a first-class service to both internal and external customers.  You will be contributing to the strategic business plan, therefore, confident in reporting information, status updates and providing feedback on tenders will form a key aspect of your role.

What do you need to have?
The understanding of customer service and its impact on business growth is key. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain compelling relationships, will help ensure success within this role.  You will also have:

  • A demonstrable knowledge of supervision, reporting and management techniques;
  • Knowledge and awareness of continuous improvement within existing and new processes;
  • Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Your experience may well have come from within estimating, project cost control (ideally within the Utilities or Construction sector), or similar commercial environment.   With strong organisational and management skills, you will be a person who will help drive your team forward.
